Tourism Strategy Advisory Group Continues to Support Project

On Since Tuesday, March 22nd, the Tourism Strategy Advisory Committee continues to meet regularly to oversee and advise on the Ketchikan Tourism Strategy project which is being supported by a consulting team from Confluence Sustainability and The George Washington University International Institute of Tourism Studies. The meetings have been well attended. The Advisory Committee is comprised of the following, but the public is encouraged to attend and participate:

  • Councilmember Jai Mahtani, City of Ketchikan
  • President Trixie Bennett, Ketchikan Indian Community
  • President Joe Williams, Organized Village of Saxman
  • Patti Mackey, KVB
  • Michelle O’Brien, Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce
  • Bret Hiatt, SSRAA
  • Brandi Diamond, First Bank
  • Linda Randall, South Tongass Service Area
  • Chief Kiefer, North Tongass Service Area
